The Johnston Society honors the memory of Larry Johnston, who taught science at Mid-Pen for 35 years and left a generous gift to the school when he died in 2015. A beloved teacher, colleague, and friend, Larry inspired hundreds of Mid-Pen students over the years and was instrumental in Mid-Pen’s growth and development. Larry’s bequest was the first planned gift in Mid-Pen’s history, and it is in his memory that we recognize others who have included the school in their estate plans.
